Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some very exciting news. I am now married to my awesome, amazing, beautiful, strong, and intelligent wife Emmalyn Moore (it is so weird writing Emme Moore). 🙂 We have been together since I was 15 years old (over 11 years now) and have known for many years now that we would end up married at some point, but neither of us were in a hurry (as you can tell having been together over 11 years). Well, we are now getting older and want a family in the next few years so we decided it was time.
I am so happy! She is so awesome, and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. She is a constant supporter of me, and she is my best friend. I am very excited about our life together.
By the way, she also has a powerlifting meet (her second one) coming up December 8th so head over to her facebook page and wish her good luck. I know it would mean a lot to her. She is going to kill it. She has already beat all of her numbers from her previous meet. She is going to compete in the 132 class and her current bests are 210 squat, 120 bench, and 235 deadlift.
She is a great example of how lifting weights does not make a woman look masculine. She looks great!
I will keep you updated on how the meet goes.
I also received an awesome update from a client who initially contacted Molly Galbraith for some help with her rib flare. Molly asked me to provide some help to the reader with a guest blog on her site. I happily agreed and provided some thoughts on how this reader could decrease her rib flare. Here is my original post.
Well, the reader emailed Molly recently and here is what she had to say:
How awesome is that?!?! Way to go Jodie for following through and being consistent. This is why I love what I do!
I also wanted to let my readers know that I recently did an interview over on WeightTraining.com. They have been interviewing some pretty big names so I was excited when they asked me to do it. They have now asked me to write some guest posts so be on the lookout for those in the future.
Lastly, I would love some feedback on my current “How To Get Started Lifting Weights” series. I would like to eventually turn it into an E-book because I feel like it could be a great resource for beginner trainees and coaches looking to help their beginner clients progress more easily and efficiently. If you have any suggestions on how I can make it better or what you would like to see, please let me know.
Have a good week!
