Hello, everyone! My name is Zach Moore and I am a fitness/lifestyle coach at Precision Nutrition (PN). Before my work with PN, I was a full-time strength coach at Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training (IFAST) – named one of the top 10 gyms in the U.S. by Men’s Health magazine in 2009 and 2010 and co-owned by Bill Hartman and Mike Robertson.
I work, and have worked, with a wide variety of clients ranging from athletes (middle school age all the way to college age) looking to improve performance or rehab an injury, to general population clients looking to improve body composition, get out of pain, or just get into better shape.
I have Precision Nutrition level 1 and level 2 certifications and also have certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certification, and a club coaching certification through USA Weightlifting (USAW).
I graduated summa cum laude from IUPUI with my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Economics. I know what you are thinking – Economics?!?! Well, we can’t all know what we want to do when we are in our early 20s, and I definitely did not. 🙂 (If you want to learn more about how I came to be a strength coach, click HERE).
However, I was lucky to eventually find something that I am very passionate about – fitness and health – and I have been lucky to find jobs that allow me to coach others to help them reach their goals in these areas.
My biggest passion as a coach and writer is to help my clients and audience reach their fitness and health goals. I love learning about fat loss, muscle gain, getting strong, improving athleticism, getting out of pain, and enjoying and improving life through behavior and lifestyle changes. You name the goal, and I want to help you reach it.
I am also unique in that I believe I can help you reach your goal, but I also want you to be able to sustain it. Too many writers try to offer up quick solutions, but I am more interested in long-term, sustainable change. I believe a big piece of making lasting change is education, which will be a big aim of my writing as well.
This blog will serve as my outlet to share any thoughts I have regarding life or health and fitness, and tips and strategies on how to get closer to your goals related to fitness and health. I will cover a wide range of topics, but if you have a specific topic or question you would like me to discuss then feel free to contact me. I have listed several ways to get a hold of me below.
Thanks for reading!!
